Summer Program
For youth grades K – 12, our two part Summer Program seeks to teach and sharpen player’s tennis skills in a fun and encouraging environment.
Tennis Skills Practice
The foundation of our Summer Program is the skill practice held two evenings each week. During these sessions, players practice tennis basics — posture, stance, swing, etc. — in a group practice setting using various games to reinforce what is learned. These skills are the core of equipping the players to play a game or match.
Tennis Match Play
The second portion of our program features the fun and excitement of tennis match play. Games feature both home and away matches against area tennis clubs. Players from beginners to advanced skill level all are welcome to participate in matches once able to serve correctly from the baseline. This is a wonderful learning experience for beginning players who want to learn how to play in a match, and a great opportunity for middle school and high school players to keep up the skill of match play while they are out of season.
